You are reading the privacy policy of Twick OU. ("Twick"). Twick is a service that includes the twick.com mobile app and website, which collects and processes some of your information when you use our service.

We are always striving to improve our service and to do so, we need to verify information about our users and the information you share.

Here we explain how we collect, store, protect, and share your information as needed. Please read this information together with our Terms of Use .

HOW WE COLLECT AND PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION

When you register for our service, using a website or app, you provide certain information about yourself:

  1. Login and password - your login credentials, as well as some other data such as your gender and date of birth;
  2. You can tell about yourself, your activities, education, work, interests, and hobbies;
  3. You can upload your photos using your mobile device or website; or sync with social networks (Facebook or Instagram).

Please remember that when you submit personal information about yourself to Twick, you are giving your consent to its processing.

You also provide information about yourself:

  • when you participate in contests, events, and/or surveys, and by demonstrating your understanding of our service by answering our questions and leaving your feedback.
  • when you create or participate in Events;
  • when you contact support service;
  • when you share content in your correspondence, we see your chats with other users;
  • additional information about other users when you request to be contacted, to process some information, to send a message, to block or other;
  • when you interact with our support service and provide information necessary to resolve a question or concern;
  • other users also have the right to provide information about you when making a request or complaint, we are obligated to accept and process that request;
  • if you synchronize with other social networks to upload photos, we receive information from our partners.

Information about a user, their name, and their sexual preferences may be visible to other members.

Be careful and tolerant, you are always responsible for the information and materials you share with other users.

You may also be asked to verify your email address so we can verify that you are a real person. We may need this verification to prevent fraud or another mischief.

HOW DO WE SEE YOUR GEOLOCATION?

If you have agreed in your device settings to share your geolocation information with TWICK, you should know that we will collect Wi-Fi hotspot information as well as other location information (such as longitude and latitude), and we may store your device coordinates to offer some features for you.

This is the information about your device that you use to access our service that we collect:

  1. IP address, device ID and type, device-specific settings and characteristics, app crashes, browser type, version and language, operating system, time zones, cookies, or other technologies that can uniquely identify your device or browser;
  2. Wi-Fi and mobile network connections (provider and quality of connectivity);
  3. Device sensors (accelerometers, gyroscopes, and compasses).

We receive your geolocation information if you agree to this in your device settings.

Geolocation data may also be collected in the background (when you're not using the app) if you've permitted us to do so in your settings.

When you contact the support service in the feedback section, we see your email address and can see the IP address and other information you send us.

Likewise, we can see your photos.

Your complaints will remain in our communication history with you for 6 years after your account is deleted, as well as cookies and other technologies.

A cookie is a small file that can be placed on your device or browser that allows us to recognize and remember you.

How and what we use your information for

First, to improve our service.

We can offer you our services and features, remind you about app updates, personalize the site/application and the content we share with you, and conduct research and analysis on how you use our service.

We can troubleshoot problems and disputes, handle your complaints, investigate difficult situations, protect our legal rights and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

Second, to protect our users and third parties from damage.

HOW DO WE VERIFY YOUR INFORMATION

We use a combination of automated systems and a team of moderators for monitoring.

If the terms of use of our service are violated, the user may receive a warning, or access to their account may be restricted and/or blocked.

INFORMATION DISCLOSURE

We do not disclose your registration or personal information to third parties, but there are exceptions:

  • Moderation;
  • Law and damages;
  • Spam and fraud protection.

Twick has never sold and does not sell your personal information.

INFORMATION SECURITY

We use secure servers with firewalls to protect your personal data.

But we cannot guarantee the privacy of your data while it is being transmitted to our website and app.

When you register or log into your account with an email, password, and username, you should take care of your own privacy.

If you suspect that someone has accessed your account, you can lock your profile, change your password and other details in your account settings, or contact customer service for a detailed mechanism for action.

Your email address will be connected to your Twick profile and will be used to restore access to your account.

If you delete the Twick app on your mobile device, we will not have access to your data.

But we will still store the personal information that we received when you registered and set up your account.

If you don't use your account within 12 months, it will be deleted from the search automatically, and after another 12 months, it will be deleted.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can get all the information you need from us, access to your profile, the opportunity to correct your data.

You also have the right to restrict the processing of your data.

HOW WE KEEP AND DELETE DATA

We keep your personal information for as long as it is needed for legal reasons or until you permanently delete your profile.

Within 12 months, you can restore your account, but after six months we will begin the process of removing your personal information from our systems.

We will also retain certain information we deem necessary to ensure that all laws and terms of use rules are followed after a user deletes their account, and also to ensure that the user does not register a new profile if the user has previously violated the necessary rules of our application terms of use.

Even after a profile is deleted, copies of the information may be available to the extent that such information has previously been shown, copied, and retained by others.

If you have given third-party applications or websites access to your personal information, they may retain such information to the extent permitted by their terms of service or privacy policies.
